We are glad to share that we have our very own product - Proxy-Cheap Proxy Manager that will help you use proxies with Chrome, or any other Chromium-based browser, without worry!

To download our Proxy Manager, you can visit this link here or search for Proxy-Cheap Proxy Manager in Chrome web store. 

1. Open the Proxy-Cheap Proxy Manager listing in the Chrome Web Store, click Add to Chrome, then confirm by clicking Add extension.

2. After successful addon, you will be redirected to changelog, in which you can read about latest updates for our extension.

3. Press imported proxies and connect with your Proxy-Cheap account. 

4. Proceed and log in to your Proxy-Cheap account.

5. After successful log in - Open up your extension

6. Open Imported Proxies, find the proxy you want to use, and click Connect.



7. Once the extension shows that the proxy is connected, open an IP-check website in the same browser and confirm that it displays the proxy IP or exit IP. To stop using the proxy through the extension, click Disconnect.

Chrome supports SOCKS5 proxies, but its native SOCKS5 implementation does not support username/password authentication.

For a SOCKS5 proxy using IP-whitelist authentication, make sure your current public IP is whitelisted and that your proxy product supports this method.

These settings apply to supported traffic in this browser, not to every application on your device.

8. To add a proxy manually, open Custom Proxies and click Add Proxy. Enter a title, select the protocol, and enter the proxy address and port in the Proxy IP:PORT field. Enter your proxy username and password if required, then click Add Proxy to save.

9. Open the extension, select Custom Proxies, and click Connect beside the proxy you added. Open an IP-check website in the same browser and confirm that it displays the proxy IP or exit IP.
