Auto Top-Up automatically attempts to add funds to your Proxy-Cheap account balance using a saved payment card.
You choose:
- A threshold, which determines when an automatic refill is triggered; and
- A top-up amount, which determines how much will be added.
For example, if you set a threshold of $5 and a top-up amount of $10, If you set a threshold of $5 and a top-up amount of $10, the system will use $5 as the low-balance trigger and attempt to add $10 automatically.
Auto Top-Up helps reduce the risk of insufficient balance, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted service. A payment may fail because of an expired card, insufficient funds, a bank decline, an authentication requirement, an account restriction, or a technical issue.
Auto Top-Up adds money to your account balance. It does not change the renewal settings of your proxies or subscriptions.
Set up Auto Top-Up
1. Add a payment card
Make sure a valid payment card is saved to your Proxy-Cheap account.
If you need help, see How to add or remove a card from my account? [YouTube Tutorial].
2. Open the Auto Top-Up settings
From the Overview page, select Enable Auto Top-Up if the option is displayed.
You can also open Billing in your dashboard and select Manage next to your saved card.
3. Configure Auto Top-Up
In the payment-card management window:
- Switch on Auto Top-Up.
- Enter the amount you want to add automatically.
- Enter the balance threshold that should trigger the refill.
The interface currently displays a minimum top-up amount of $5 USD. Always follow the limits and validation messages displayed in your account, as available values may change.
4. Save your settings
Review the top-up amount and threshold, then select Save.
Auto Top-Up is enabled after the settings are saved successfully. When the threshold condition is met, Proxy-Cheap will attempt to charge the saved card and credit the selected amount to your account balance.
Turn off Auto Top-Up
Return to the same payment-card management window, switch off Auto Top-Up, and select Save.
Disabling Auto Top-Up stops future automatic refill attempts. It does not cancel or change any separately configured proxy or subscription renewals.
If an automatic payment fails or your balance is not updated after a successful charge, contact Proxy-Cheap Support with the approximate time and amount of the attempted payment. Do not send your full card number, CVV, password, or verification code.
