Most of our services are sold with HTTP for ease of purchase. However, we allow you to change the proxy protocol at any time, and it is accessible in a few simple steps.
Note that this will apply only to static residential and data center IPv4 proxies.
1. Open up your proxy from the overview or from within my proxies tab.
2. Scroll down to details and find the button change next to protocol information.
3. Change the protocol from HTTP to SOCKS5 or other way around, if needed, and press change. Note that port number will change with protocol change as well.
