How to change authentication type?

This method is applied to datacenter IPv4 and static residential proxies.


Currently, both datacenter and static residential proxies assign you a proxy with username and password authentication. 

1. If you have to change it to IP whitelist or other way around, open up your proxy in overview or from within my proxies tab. 

2. In Authentication field, press change. 

4. Change the authentication type to IP whitelist or Username and password. If choosing IP whitelist - please set up whitelisted IPs before saving settings. 

5. Press Change and you are good to go!
