How to use long session IDs (NNID) for rotating residential proxies

A Long Session ID, also called an NNID, lets you keep the same Rotating Residential exit IP for up to 30 minutes.

Generate a long session

  1. Log in to your Proxy-Cheap dashboard.
  2. Open your Rotating Residential Proxy.
  3. Select Setup Credentials.
  4. Choose the available Long Session or session-ID option.
  5. Generate the credentials or token shown in the dashboard.
  6. Use the generated details in your application.

Use the same generated session ID for the duration of the session. Creating a new session ID can assign a different exit IP.

Important

If State or City fields are available in the credentials generator, leave them set to Random when using a Long Session ID.

Use the protocol and credential format generated by the dashboard. If you need SOCKS5, generate the long-session credentials first, then use the SOCKS5 details provided for that session.

A long session can end after 30 minutes, so your application should be able to reconnect if needed.
