Datacenter (IPv4) and Static Residential proxies support two authentication methods: Username/Password and IP Whitelist.
By default, they’re set to Username/Password, but you can switch at any time.
Steps
1. Open Your Proxy
- Go to the My Proxies tab or open the proxy from its Overview page.
2. Access the Authentication Settings
- In the Authentication field, click Change
3. Select Your Preferred Method
- Choose IP Whitelist or Username/Password.
- If you choose IP Whitelist, make sure to add your allowed IP addresses before saving.
4. Save Changes
- Click Change (or Save) to apply the new authentication type.
