Switching proxy protocol
From now on you're able to change your proxy protocol at will:
1. Log in to your Proxy-Cheap dashboard and check the Active Proxies section to see your available proxies.
2. From the sidebar, select My Proxies. Locate the proxy you want to update and click on it to open its details.
3. Inside the Proxy Overview page, look for the Protocol field. Next to it, click the Change button.
4. A pop-up will appear. Choose between HTTP or SOCKS5, depending on your needs, then confirm your selection.
That’s it! Your proxy will now run on the selected protocol.
Remember:
- Update your automation tools or browser settings with the new protocol.
- Changes can only be made once per month on a single proxy
