The Usage limits card helps you see whether your proxies reached a speed, concurrency, or bandwidth limit. It is a record of recent limit activity, not a live speed test.
Important: A warning color on the Usage limits card means a limit was reached during a previous hour. It does not necessarily mean your proxy is restricted now.
Where to find your limits
- Overview: The Usage limits card highlights up to three proxies closest to their limits. The same proxy can appear more than once if different limits are relevant.
- Proxy details: Open an individual proxy and look for the Proxy resources card to review its limits.
This feature is currently shown for regular customer accounts; it is not available in reseller and B2B dashboards.
On Overview, look for the Usage limits card. This example shows no limits reached in the last 24 hours.
Open a proxy to find Proxy resources. The red boxes show the speed and concurrency history, limit values, and event counts.
Understand the last 24 hours
The speed and concurrency graphs show 24 hourly segments, from 24 hours ago through the current hour.
- Colored segments indicate hours when a limit was reached.
- An unhighlighted segment means no limit event was shown for that hour.
- The most recent segment is the current hour, which is still in progress.
- Hover over an hour to see the value and timestamp where available.
- The information may be delayed by a few minutes; it is not real-time.
What does “Limit reached N times” mean?
It counts separate occasions when a limit was reached, not the number of highlighted hours. For example, if one limit event continued for three hours, the card can still show Limit reached 1 time.
Speed, concurrency and bandwidth
On Overview, bandwidth usage appears only for bandwidth-limited proxies approaching their allocation. Proxies with unlimited bandwidth do not display a bandwidth-limit entry there.
When will I see an Upgrade button?
An Upgrade button appears only where a higher limit is available for your proxy and its server. An Upgrade button may be absent when:
- The product does not support that upgrade.
- The server has no additional upgrade capacity available.
- The current plan or limit has no higher tier available.
Rotating proxies do not have an Upgrade button on this card.
Frequently asked questions
Does a red hour mean my proxy is currently throttled?
No. It records that a limit was reached during that hour. Check current connection behavior separately if you are experiencing a problem.
Why does the graph still show a warning when my proxy is idle?
The card shows historical events over a rolling 24-hour window. Previous hours remain visible until they fall outside that window.
Why is my Upgrade button missing?
Your product or its server may not support another upgrade. Contact Support with your proxy ID if you need help reviewing your options.
