What is a rotating proxy?

Modified on Fri, 21 Jul 2023 at 08:09 AM

A rotating proxy routes internet traffic through a number of different IP addresses. This is often used to help hide the original IP address of the user and protect their privacy, or to avoid being blocked by websites that impose restrictions on IP addresses. Rotating proxies are used for a variety of purposes, including web scraping, online anonymity, and bypassing geographic restrictions on content.

Our Residential proxies do exactly that. You can choose either for IP to be changed on every request of retaining the same IP address for the session. Where the session is just your generated random string.
