Follow the steps below to configure a custom SOCKS5 proxy on a DUOPLUS cloud phone and start the device with the proxy enabled.
Important Notes
- The setup flow uses a SOCKS5 proxy.
- The proxy is configured before the cloud phone is powered on.
- Run the built-in proxy connection test before finishing the setup.
- If the cloud phone has no network after startup, review the Proxy DNS setting.
Setup Steps
Step 1: Open the Cloud Phone section
Sign in to DUOPLUS and open Cloud Phone from the left sidebar.
Step 2: Provision or select a cloud phone
If you do not already have a cloud phone, choose the required Android version and create one. If the device already exists, select it from the cloud-phone list.
Step 3: Open the proxy configuration
Open the selected cloud phone's configuration page and locate the Network section.
Step 4: Set Proxy Type to Custom Proxy
Under Proxy Type, select Custom Proxy.
Step 5: Enter the proxy details
Set the proxy protocol to SOCKS5 and enter:
- IP or Domain - your proxy host or IP
- Port - your proxy port
- Username - if required
- Password - if required
Step 6: Run the proxy test
Click Check. Continue only after DUOPLUS shows the green message Proxy IP Connection Test Passed.
Step 7: Review Proxy DNS if needed
If the proxy test passes but the cloud phone cannot access websites after startup, open the device’s three-dot menu, select Modify settings, and try turning Proxy DNS off. Disabling this setting may cause DNS queries to bypass the proxy.
Step 8: Finish the proxy setup
Click Complete Configuration to save the configuration.
Step 9: Power on the cloud phone
Return to the device list and click Power On. Once the cloud phone has started, open a browser inside the cloud phone and visit an IP-check website. Confirm that the displayed IP is the proxy IP or proxy exit IP.
