Follow the steps below to manually configure a Proxy-Cheap proxy in V2BOX on Android and connect through it.
Important Notes
- The setup uses a manual SOCKS5 configuration.
- Notification permission is optional.
- Android VPN permission is required for the connection.
- Use the correct manual configuration type before entering your proxy details.
Setup Steps
Step 1: Open V2BOX
Open V2BOX. If the app asks for notification permission, you can allow or decline it.
Step 2: Open the Configs tab
From the bottom navigation, tap Configs.
Step 3: Open the add menu
Tap the + button and choose Add manual config.
Step 4: Select the manual config type
From the available config types, select SOCKS.
Step 5: Enter the proxy details
- Remarks — any name you want for the proxy
- Address — your proxy IP or hostname
- Port — your proxy port
- Username — your proxy username, if required
- Password — your proxy password, if required
Tap Save.
Step 6: Confirm the config was added
Confirm that the saved configuration appears under the Local section and that it is selected before connecting.
Step 7: Start the connection
Return to the V2BOX home screen and tap Connect.
Step 8: Allow the Android VPN connection
If Android displays a VPN connection request, accept it to allow V2BOX to connect.
Step 9: Verify the proxy connection
After V2BOX shows that the connection is active, open an IP-check website and confirm that the displayed IP is the proxy IP or proxy exit IP.
