Setup steps
This setup applies an HTTP proxy to the selected iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi network. It does not apply to cellular data or configure a SOCKS5 proxy.
- Open Settings → Wi-Fi and tap the information button beside your connected network.
- Open Configure Proxy and select Manual.
- Enter your proxy server and port. Enable Authentication and enter your proxy username and password if your proxy uses them.
- For IP-whitelist authentication, leave Authentication off and whitelist the Wi-Fi network’s public IP in your dashboard.
- Save and check your public IP in a browser. Keep cellular data off while testing.
See the existing written iOS Wi-Fi guide for screenshots. To disconnect, change Configure Proxy to Off.
This tutorial can work by both activating IP whitelist authentication or username & password authentication.
Important:
In case you ask, what is IP whitelist?
We recommend leaving cellular data turned off during the entirety of the process.
Tutorial layout may vary on the layout of iOS version used.
